Are you a survivor of Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM), or has someone you love been taken by this condition?
Your voice is powerful. Your story could save lives.
At Let’s Talk PPCM, we’re building a community of survivors and families who want to give back, whether that’s by sharing your journey, mentoring another mom, or helping spread awareness in your city or online.
We invite you to share your story, from your first symptoms to your diagnosis and include a photo (during pregnancy, with your baby, or from your hospital journey).
By submitting your story and photos/videos, you acknowledge that they may be used by Let’s Talk PPCM for awareness efforts, including social media, website features, media pages, educational materials, graphics, and advocacy campaigns.

PPCM Awareness Week is officially May 10–17. Many PPCM nonprofits recognize this time in May to honor survivors, remember the mothers we’ve lost, and make sure Mother’s Day is included in our awareness efforts. Together we raise our voices, so more families know the signs and mothers receive the care they deserve.
We encourage every heart sister and supporter to help raise awareness in your state by reaching out to your governor’s office and requesting recognition of PPCM Awareness Week.

"New mothers are counting on us, often in silence and when it matters most. With the right support, their stories can have stronger, healthier endings. If you feel led to give, your kindness helps protect their hearts and futures."
